Data Retention

Churches control their own data. Care tickets and search logs retained for ministry purposes only. Members can request deletion at any time.

Terms of Service

Church Responsibilities

  • Govern content lifecycle and freshness states
  • Respond to care tickets in a timely manner
  • Ensure sermon content complies with copyright
  • Maintain appropriate care team staffing

Platform Responsibilities

  • Maintain 99.9% uptime SLA
  • Provide evidence-linked, accurate results
  • Protect member privacy and data security
  • Support care routing and ticket management

Acceptable Use

This platform is for ministry purposes only. Prohibited uses include:

  • Surveillance or behavioral tracking of members
  • Sharing member data outside the church
  • Using AI to replace human pastoral care
  • Uploading content that violates copyright

Security

Data Encryption

All data encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Keys managed with industry best practices.

Access Control

Role-based permissions. Multi-factor authentication. Audit logs for all admin actions.

Incident Response

24/7 monitoring. Incident response plan. Breach notification within 72 hours.

Compliance

SOC 2 Type II in progress. GDPR and CCPA compliant. Regular security audits.
